The sanctity of the workspace inspires

Each writer rents their own dedicated desk. Internet and utilities are included. The workspace is reserved for quiet focus on writing.

With that in mind, The Coop is not a workshop or critique group. We are not open to the public. Writers are welcome to collaborate, commiserate or share their work with each other, but not within the serenity of the writing space. A separate conference room is available for calls or discussions.

Other resources

For writers who want classes, social gatherings and more frequent events, we highly recommend:

Page Street - vibrant co-working locations for writers in both San Francisco and Berkeley.

Litquake - San Francisco's only literary festival. Opportunities to meet accomplished writers. Plus classes in the craft of writing, and the Elder Project works with senior writers.

The Writers Grotto has a litany of classes and space for rent.
